Jamie and team recently completed a single storey rear extension for us. I chose Jamie because of all the builders who quoted, he appeared the most professional, knowledgeable and organised. In addition to this his quote actually came in slightly lower than others. Throughout the build Jamie was excellent to work with. He was easy to contact, even at quite unsociable hours and responded quickly to questions and queries. Anyone considering a project like this will appreciate how important ease of communication is when the majority of building work takes place when you are out of the house and at work yourself. The quality of workmanship is equally impressive. I'm a perfectionist by nature and difficult to please, however I have been consistently pleased with the standard of work in structural and aesthetic quality. The final major bonus which is important to share is the cleanliness with which he works. I had spent years getting my garden right prior to the build and was dreading the thought of diggers etc destroying all my hard work. Despite nearly 50 tons of waste being taken through by back garden and over my back wall, you could barely tell that they had been. Indeed the site was always left clean and tidy and Jamie went the extra mile doing things like pressure washing my drive to clear away any dust and dirt. This is not something I asked for or expected but demonstrated how much he respects your property. Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending Jamie and ABBS if you are considering a building project of any kind.

Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish with Jamie and his excellent team

I have had my faith in builders restored by Jamie and his team. After less than satisfactory experiences with other building companies, they are in another league. Jamie is reliable, skilled and excellent value for money. I would not hesitate to recommend them. I for one will not look elsewhere in future if I need any further work undertaking.

For various reasons out of his control, by the time our work was due to start Jamie was struggling to fit our rear of house remodel into his schedule, but thankfully he honoured his commitment. The job included knocking out the corner of the house and an internal wall and insertion of steels along with Electric rework and new boiler in new location. The end result in terms of the space it has opened up is just what we wanted and the kitchen (designed, supplied and fitted by Dale Jones) is great. All the trades on the job have been professional and good at what they do and the finish in the main kitchen/knock-through is great. A few bits and pieces outside of that main part of the job could have been tidier but this was partly because of the order the work needed to be done. Considering the tight schedule and holiday season its great we got our job done, let alone completed and we were happy to close the job out and recommend ABBS. Jamie's price was fair and competitive and we had no problems with unexpected price increases during the job. Thanks to Jamie and his team and wishing you the best for the future.
