Jamie and team recently completed a single storey rear extension for us. I chose Jamie because of all the builders who quoted, he appeared the most professional, knowledgeable and organised. In addition to this his quote actually came in slightly lower than others. Throughout the build Jamie was excellent to work with. He was easy to contact, even at quite unsociable hours and responded quickly to questions and queries. Anyone considering a project like this will appreciate how important ease of communication is when the majority of building work takes place when you are out of the house and at work yourself. The quality of workmanship is equally impressive. I'm a perfectionist by nature and difficult to please, however I have been consistently pleased with the standard of work in structural and aesthetic quality. The final major bonus which is important to share is the cleanliness with which he works. I had spent years getting my garden right prior to the build and was dreading the thought of diggers etc destroying all my hard work. Despite nearly 50 tons of waste being taken through by back garden and over my back wall, you could barely tell that they had been. Indeed the site was always left clean and tidy and Jamie went the extra mile doing things like pressure washing my drive to clear away any dust and dirt. This is not something I asked for or expected but demonstrated how much he respects your property. Overall I would have no hesitation in recommending Jamie and ABBS if you are considering a building project of any kind.

January 10, 2021Jamie and his team did an excellent job for us. They were friendly, extremely professional and worked to a high standard. Jamie was very good with his communication, keeping us informed as to progress throughout the work. He was helpful and offered good advice as to the options with the job and did not mind the inevitable 'extras' that always seem to crop up. The cost was exactly as quoted and the cost of the extras was made clear when discussing them. Everything was kept tidy and they cleaned up everywhere once they had finished. The quality of their work was great, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Jamie.

When it came to doing the work the team were reliable, knowledgeable & the work was of a high quality. We are really happy & have recommended them to our neighbours already 😁

Jamie and his team did an excellent job, they completed a single storey extension for us also as well as replacing windows and facias. All the trades man working for Jamie were first class and very polite. The whole build process was made easy with good communications and the ability to adapt plans or adjust the build as it progressed, I would have no hesitation in recommending them and would certainly use them again

January 10, 2019I cannot recommend ABBS highly enough. Rather than hiring individual trades to carry out much needed improvement works to my house (everything required doing) , I wanted somebody who would project manage the complete scheme, which Jamie did from start to finish. From his initial visit to the property to the finish, he had a real "can do that" approach. He did not once appear daunted by the size of the task ahead. Every one of his employees was a pleasure to encounter, and the quality of work was superb. I was kept updated through out and the end result is a house that has been transformed from one of neglect to one I am proud of. Thank you to Jamie and each and everyone of his team.

January 10, 2022After learning from my mortgage providers surveyor that the house I’d set my heart on buying for years would potentially fall through because of an unsafe chimney stack ! I didn’t know which way to turn. They said unless I instructed a structural surveyor immediately or obtain a report from a professional builder with experience and knowledge in that field, then the sale would fall through. Jamie was recommended to me by my cousin, who thought he was the only person qualified enough. She knew that could help me after he litterally rebuilt her house from top to bottom! I can’t recommend him anymore for the level of service he provided to us. He delivered the report within no time at all and, as a result, the lenders where happy to proceed with the mortgage. I am so grateful for their help and can see why Jamie and his team are rated one of the best builders in Bolton.
