Jamie and his team completed a single story extension to the rear of our property. They used external contractors to save us having to source finding tradesmen ourselves. He had a good team of reliable workers and especially impressed with the skills of Simon. The build was done to a high standard and a reasonable cost and Jamie kept us updated with progress as it went along.

Rather than hiring individual trades to carry out much needed improvement works to my house (everything required doing) , I wanted somebody who would project manage the complete scheme, which Jamie did from start to finish. From his initial visit to the property to the finish, he had a real "can do that" approach. He did not once appear daunted by the size of the task ahead. Every one of his employees was a pleasure to encounter, and the quality of work was superb. I was kept updated through out and the end result is a house that has been transformed from one of neglect to one I am proud of. Thank you to Jamie and each and everyone of his team.

January 10, 2022For various reasons out of his control, by the time our work was due to start Jamie was struggling to fit our rear of house remodel into his schedule, but thankfully he honoured his commitment. The job included knocking out the corner of the house and an internal wall and insertion of steels along with Electric rework and new boiler in new location. The end result in terms of the space it has opened up is just what we wanted and the kitchen (designed, supplied and fitted by Dale Jones) is great. All the trades on the job have been professional and good at what they do and the finish in the main kitchen/knock-through is great. A few bits and pieces outside of that main part of the job could have been tidier but this was partly because of the order the work needed to be done. Considering the tight schedule and holiday season its great we got our job done, let alone completed and we were happy to close the job out and recommend ABBS. Jamie's price was fair and competitive and we had no problems with unexpected price increases during the job. Thanks to Jamie and his team and wishing you the best for the future.

We recently used Jamie to add a single-storey rear extension to our property. Jamie came recommended via a friend and was one of four builders we approached for this project. Out of the four, he was the most approachable and easiest to communicate with. We found it very easy to discuss our requirements with him, and his quote came in promptly and competitively. Jamie and the whole team at ABBS were excellent to work with. Professional, knowledgeable and would always keep you informed on their progress and when they would be onsite. We didn't have to chase Jamie once. COVID and weather set the build back by a couple of weeks, but Jamie rearranged his schedule to keep delays to a minimum. We are delighted with the result and wouldn't hesitate in using ABBS again.

Had great communication throughout, whether about timings, next steps, or to explain the details about parts of the job when we had Qs. Has a great team, including a reliable and friendly group of contractors to support, but communication and decisions always went through Jamie and team. Everyone pointed out how tidy everyone was!
