I had an extension done recently by ABBS, it did take a bit longer than anticipated but I could not fault the work and how tidy they were. I was updated regularly with what was happening and I am very happy with the finished result. Jamie and the team have done a great job!

Jamie was very professional from start to finish. His men worked well and had clear instructions given at all times. They would arrive early and work productively. A few odd delays caused by unforeseen circumstances but Jamie kept in contact throughout. Will definitely be using these guys again very soon and would recommend them to anyone looking for home renovations etc. Big thanks to you all J.

Would highly recommend Jamie. It took a while for me to feel comfortable finding the right person and knowing what was needed to complete two jobs. He put up with my worries! Which shows patience and understanding. He attended the job himself which gives confidence rather than just outsourcing the work. He was prompt, kept the work very tidy and the finish result is outstanding. He would be the guy I would like future work from.

Unfortunately we had / are still having a terrible experience with Jamie @ Astley Bridge Building Services. He completed an extension on our property and did not fit the roof properly. We pointed this out as soon as the roof was ‘complete’ as it was pooling water in certain areas and leaking down the side of the extension. Jamie refused to resolve the issue stating it was normal. The roof is now causing a leak into the kitchen and through the electrics. We have small children in the house and he has blocked our numbers. He continues to use pictures of the extension and our home on his website as an example of his work. We have spent a lot of money and are left in this situation. We are now left with no option but to report him.

For various reasons out of his control, by the time our work was due to start Jamie was struggling to fit our rear of house remodel into his schedule, but thankfully he honoured his commitment. The job included knocking out the corner of the house and an internal wall and insertion of steels along with Electric rework and new boiler in new location. The end result in terms of the space it has opened up is just what we wanted and the kitchen (designed, supplied and fitted by Dale Jones) is great. All the trades on the job have been professional and good at what they do and the finish in the main kitchen/knock-through is great. A few bits and pieces outside of that main part of the job could have been tidier but this was partly because of the order the work needed to be done. Considering the tight schedule and holiday season its great we got our job done, let alone completed and we were happy to close the job out and recommend ABBS. Jamie's price was fair and competitive and we had no problems with unexpected price increases during the job. Thanks to Jamie and his team and wishing you the best for the future.
