After learning from my mortgage providers surveyor that the house I’d set my heart on buying for years would potentially fall through because of an unsafe chimney stack ! I didn’t know which way to turn. They said unless I instructed a structural surveyor immediately or obtain a report from a professional builder with experience and knowledge in that field, then the sale would fall through. Jamie was recommended to me by my cousin, who thought he was the only person qualified enough. She knew that could help me after he litterally rebuilt her house from top to bottom! I can’t recommend him anymore for the level of service he provided to us. He delivered the report within no time at all and, as a result, the lenders where happy to proceed with the mortgage. I am so grateful for their help and can see why Jamie and his team are rated one of the best builders in Bolton.

January 10, 2019I had an extension done recently by ABBS, it did take a bit longer than anticipated but I could not fault the work and how tidy they were. I was updated regularly with what was happening and I am very happy with the finished result. Jamie and the team have done a great job!

October 10, 2024Rang for a quote and was told that they'd get back to me about coming out. Didn't hear back. Used the quote function on Google and they responded to ask if they could call back the next day. I agreed. Never heard from them. Disappointing.

I can’t recommend Jamie & ABBS enough. Excellent service and workmanship throughout our build. Jamie made the experience zero stress for us - we were kept informed & involved and listened to - just brilliant communication - it’s not always an easy process for the homeowner to navigate through. Every finish has been flawless and top quality, great team - thorough, friendly and all highly skilled. Wish we would have found them sooner! January 10, 2020From start to finish, Jamie understands that communication is as important as the standard of the job. All of his team where always early each day and worked a full day, which is great to see. They were all genuinely there to crack on and get the job done. Once each job was complete Jamie would inspect and discuss if we were happy? If not, he'd arrange to have things adjusted or changed, and quickly. The area of the work was always kept tidy at the end of each day and things put nearly to one side. On full completion, everything was tidied up and left as though they'd never been. Overall, we are very pleased with the standard of the work and Jamie's communication.

All the trades man working for Jamie were first class and very polite. The whole build process was made easy with good communications and the ability to adapt plans or adjust the build as it progressed, I would have no hesitation in recommending them and would certainly use them again
